Description
The Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) is a test designed to assess the competency of entry-level veterinary technicians to practice and become accredited. The VTNE is required for licensure in the majority of states and Canadian provinces. The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) owns and manages the VTNE.

To take the VTNE, you must have completed a veterinary technology program recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) or the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), or a program allowed by the regulatory board in your country. Before you may take the exam, you must first apply to the AAVSB.

150 actual exam questions and 20 pilot questions (pilot questions are used for future exams and do not count towards your score)

Three-hour time limit
The exam is offered three times per year in the spring, summer, and winter.
This VTNE includes nine major areas of focus (called domains):

    This app is truly amazing. It asked me questions that other apps didn't ask and kept me on my toes. The only downfall is that whether your answer is correct or wrong it does not always fully explain why. That was annoying but other than that I liked the way the app was laid out.
