I love using Voi as it's the most convenient mode of transportation. However I wish the App had an indicator on the scooter like a beeping sound alerting before entering a "Slow" zone. Also I wish the App would let you "lock" (not "park") the bike anywhere. Sometimes when you go certain places where you can't park the bike, you need to atleast be able to "lock" it so that other can't steal the bike while it's active.

I’ve tried it out maybe 2 times so far. The second time I connected my phone to the scooter and I couldn’t end the ride, my phone didn’t even say I had started a ride to begin with, but I could still ride the scooter. I rode it for 5 and then got off and parked it. Found out later that they had taken 25€ off my account. I emailed support and they first tried to offer me credits instead of giving me my money back. Kept emailing 1 or 2 more times before I finally got the money back. Honestly, I don’t know of a lot of companies that would do that. Of course it’s the moral thing to do, but I guess most companies would give you the credits and then tell you to shut up about it. I really feel like I was kindly met and understood by customer support. But they do still have some technical things to sort out for sure.

I’ve rented three. The first two were broken and charged me anyways, one which billed half an hour and broke down in a no parking zone leaving me to haul the broken scooter out of said zone which was a hassle, and it charged me for the privledge of pushing it around. The breakdowns were not charge related as both reported over 80% charge on pickup. The app has no way to request a refund and their site doesn’t either. My third rental was out of desperation as I needed to get to my hotel quickly as I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and carrying electronics in the rain. Thankfully this one worked great. My tip is, if you push it over and it doesn’t start beeping and flashing red lights on the rear wheel, stay away from it. Overall I am very dissatisfied with the service.

I know you may not look so cool scootering around town, but it’s fast, cheap and (sometimes) convenient! The only problem I have is when people leave them in their courtyards and they are not acceptable. But that’s not the fault of the providers... just selfish people. ???
