UPDATE: Caution! Once you try this app, you will be hooked! This smart phone remote has been a game changer & now I can’t go back! Admittedly, it was a little awkward at first, but when your sweet hubby falls asleep snoring in his recliner and it’s okay to leave him there, now I don’t even have to leave my bed to turn the TV off!!! No longer do I have to shout, “please turn the tv down,” when needed; when the family sees the volume magically decrease and I’m not in the room, they just get it! ?? Old physical remote is now repaired, but I am officially hard-wired to this app! ??? Initially had to find alternative suddenly when physical remote failed; this was the 3rd app I tried and it has really delivered! Worked seamlessly w/ my Sony tv via the same WiFi network. Using the free version (very few ads), but maybe the paid version has a long press option? Love that I can press buttons from anywhere within my WiFi network reach: the remote doesn’t have to face the tv! Recommend over...
