The new OC Bus App gives you everything need to plan, pay, and ride using your smartphone. Purchase a single ride, a day pass or a 30-Day pass then activate your pass when you’re ready to ride. The new OC Bus App makes traveling by bus easier with more user-friendly features and navigation including color coded passes for each rider type, a larger QR code for easier scanning and in app notifications for bus changes. Simply download this free app, register your credit or debit card in our secure system and you’re ready to ride. For a smooth transition use the same email address used for the last OC Bus App version. Full versions of the mobile app are now available in Spanish and Vietnamese!     Not a bad app. Works well. Unless when you want to set a time to leave later in the day. Overall the app works well except for the above

    I use the app every day for heading to work since it has launched and it is a nice application. Works effectively the same as the old one with a few extra utilities with separate purpose though once consistent issue I have noticed since launch is that the tickets will occasionally fail in contrast to the old app. It made me avoid moving to the new one and every now again periods will occur where tickets purchased a minute or two before embarking a bus will state invalid. My guess is that when purchased I have noticed the expiration is set to the same minute it is purchased regardless of if you activate it or not in some cases though it has been intermittent.

    I am a Fullerton and Cypress College student who relies heavily on my school given bus passes. Since I had one from each school, I also allowed my friend to use my unused one since he needed a way to get around. With this new app, I have lost both my tickets and I am not sure how to get them back. I followed the instructions in the email sent out but it says I have no tickets and I have even used my school email and such as told to do by the school. I’m not exactly upset but I wanted to bring that to attention with OCTA and hopefully they can get a fix out or something because my friend and I just lost our rides to everywhere and beyond!
