The app does permit the addition of calories to the Move segment of the activity app. However, there are several significant deficiencies or “bugs” with the implementation. Specifically, when it “adds” calories it also overwrites with zeroes (0’s) for the Exercise and Stand segments. There is no way to go back and “fix” the overwrite. If you happen to be running a consecutive accomplishment kind of thing, the zeroes that get written into the Activity app and Health app break that sequence. Besides the “features,” another reviewer wrote that the Manual Add concept would be benefit if you could add a timed exercise also. I’ll go one better and suggest that a feature to permit selecting the date (within reason, say one week) back in time to add the calories would be fantastic. Unfortunately, as implemented with the “bugs,” I cannot recommend this app anyone.
