Description
IBM Inspector Portable app uses complex computer vision models that are developed on IBM Maximo Visual Inspection deep-learning platform to enable the rapid identification of defects and issues by capturing images using an iPhone or iPad. IBM Inspector Portable can also run Core ML models exported from IBM Maximo Visual Inspection, which enables local inferencing on-device without requiring network connectivity. Organizations can license IBM Inspector Portable with MQTT if external systems are required to automatically initiate a procedure using MQ Telemetry Transport (MQTT). IBM Inspector Portable is designed to: • Empower individuals within enterprises to take action in real time in determining if defects, damage, or other anomalies exist • Use CORE ML object detection and classification computer vision models that are trained on Maximo Visual Inspection for inferencing on iPhone or iPad. • Perform multiple inspections in a sequential order as part of a procedure • Commence a procedure manually by entering a unique reference, scanning a barcode, or using optical character recognition (OCR) • Provide users with the capability to monitor their progress through a summary view of all pass or fail results for each step of the procedure
