Plus it’s a great mix of free and paid campsites. and the site is so well designed and user friendly. Definitely my favorite campsite resource. Can’t wait for the app." - Tami "We would literally be lost without Campendium! It is the first place we go to find a campsite, and is usually all we need. The format for reviews is just better, and the cell coverage info is *invaluable* since we both work from the road. Jenericramblings loves you!" - Jeanette Hobbs "We cannot imagine full-timing without Campendium!! It is our first go-to for finding sites! Thank you!!" - Scott & Kimberly Shaw "Campendium has become an essential tool as I cross the country! I’m hooked...I couldn’t do without it! This past year on the road would had been a disaster without it!" - Scott & Jaime "We have been fulltiming for two years and tried many online camping aids. Campendium is by far the most easy to use and helpful service available. I’m using it today as we explore the Olympic Peninsula." - Jeff Lewis "We find that the reviews on Campendium, including pictures, are most helpful as we explore new places to camp. We especially appreciate when campers include their campsites with the comments. When we are looking for campsites, we go to Campendium FIRST!" - Jay & Debbie Rolls "Really helpful resource for information about various site options, locations and what to expect, from like-minded travelers." - ROBERT FULLER "Campendium is our go-to campground review site for a few reasons: 1) It’s so easy to search for free sites, public parks, or traditional RV parks, 2) we love seeing photos of campgrounds before choosing where to camp, and 3) it’s built and run by RVers like us!" -Mike Fischer Terms Of Use: https://www.campendium.com/terms-of-service

If you like camping, or road trips, or even know what BLM land is, you need to have this. It’s that simple! Kind of want to camp out at what looks like a good enough spot to stop the RV on google earth? There’s probably pictures of it already on Campendium, along with whether it has cell coverage or not, and from which providers. And someone will likely have left a review saying which sizes of RVs could safely turn around down that other road you were looking at. Then take that location, open it in Apple or Google Maps or copy the GPS coordinates for further planning. My favorite anecdotes from the last year of using it all boil down to “a few reviews warned how bad this six miles of washboard road are, which would have deterred us otherwise, but they said it was worth it so we kept going and it WAS; or not knowing where to stay in an area and finding some unmarked hollow on the side of a mountain, unbelievably scenic but shockingly close to town. There’s so much out there other adve...

We recently stayed at the RV Park after the National Park Campgrounds filled up. We can honestly say that it was a great experience staying at San-Suz-Ed. The new owners Jason & Katie (& family) made us fill right at home, and they are making improvements to the campground daily. We were sad to leave after 4 days, and would have loved to stay longer. The RV Park was full, but it never felt crowded and was always peaceful and quiet at night. We had fun sitting around the community campfire in the evenigs and sharing stories while our daughter made new friends. We definitely recommend this campground to anyone looking, and we will be back next year for sure. Some sites are back in, and others are pull through. We stayed in two sites, 17 & 24. Both sites were easy to get in and didn’t require much to level the trailer, a few block under the tires to help, this is the Mountains after all.

This park is an excellent choice in the Lubbock area. Not far from Texas Tech University, downtown, or the many restaurants in that area of town. The young couple who have built this park from the ground up have done an excellent job with the layout allowing ample space between spots. Both husband and wife exhibit excellent and attentive customer service skills when phoned. We pass this park often going to and from visiting family and it seems to consistently attract very nice looking rigs. We have driven through the park on several occasions and all RV’s and side yards appear well kept and the park seems quiet. The young wife was out watering the newly planted sod, and was so sweet when we stopped to ask questions. We hope to stay at this RV park in the future. Highly recommend!

This is our 2d trip to Red Rock, having stumbled onto this little gem a few years ago on our way to Death Valley. Last time the place was empty on arrival. This time, we arrived at 6p and freaked because the campground was nearly full. We had broken our “get to campground by 1” rule, so I gave hubby the stink eye and tried to blame him. Then, magic. Our favorite spot - #50 - was still vacant! Waiting for us. Ok, it was one of the most unlevel spots in the campground, but who cares? That’s what levelers are for, right? Gorgeous sunset, and now spectacular pink sunrise. Warm during the day, freakin cold at night. They now have free WIFI! So hubby was pretty happy that he could still work (and watch Netflix). The trail right near #50 did not have a “no dogs” sign, so as soon as I finish writing this I’m outta here with Sofie & Tyler!

We needed to take a break from regular campgrounds and be kind to our wallet. Driving from Kingman AZ to Colorado Springs CO to deliver my daughters dogs to her. This place was a perfect lay over and rest spot away from all the hustle and bustle. Exit 2 off of interstate 70 before we cross over to Utah. They say no big rigs but we like to off road a bit in our 30’. It was safe enough to do so at least to the first spot. Tucked away and far enough off the beaten trail. They also say 7 days stay. We also drove to the RV area. Nice roads and big spaces but we wanted to be away from all semi, car and train noises as possible. We already did a week of that. They also have 4 horse-stalls with plenty of area to ride. This place you can ride your horse, motorcycle, quad ,razor and everything is pretty well marked. We also saw some antelope grazing. The only downside we saw was the trash that someone prior had left behind. Why do inconsiderate people ruin such a nice place? Of course we pi...
